Port Operations

Port Operations & Field Support

Cargo safety in port depends not on one task but on coordinating a sequence of steps. ZG LASHING aims to run securing, packing and supervision during loading and discharge within a field plan aligned with the terminal operator, agent and forwarder.

What is this service?

Port operations are the field activities — handling, container stuffing and stripping, securing and checks — carried out from the cargo's acceptance in port to loading on board, or from discharge to gate-out. They run within the terminal operator's rules and permits.

Methods and materials

Single point of coordination

Securing, packing and supervision are merged into one plan; all parties deal with one contact.

Port rule compliance

Access permits, safety rules and working hours follow the terminal operator.

Safety and checkpoints

  • Only authorised personnel enter the port area.
  • Safe-zone rules apply while cranes, forklifts and terminal vehicles operate.
  • Lifting plans for heavy units are shared with the terminal operator.

Example scenario

Example scenario (illustrative): a project shipment of crated parts, a main unit on a flat rack and two containers is to load on the same vessel. Crate acceptance checks, flat-rack securing and container stuffing supervision are combined into one field plan.
